METRO LOGISTICS provides contract logistics services and Germany-wide supply to food retailers for The Quality Group, Germany's leading company for sports nutrition, supplements and sugar-reduced products.
All products of The Quality Group, which include the brands "ESN" and "MORE Nutrition" with, for example, protein powders and other dietary supplements for athletes, are developed and produced in Elmshorn, near Hamburg.
One service component of METRO LOGISTICS' logistics solution is the transport of raw materials for the production facility in Elmshorn. In addition, the finished goods are also taken over here and transported to the METROLOGISTICS site in Bremen for storage and order picking.
METRO LOGISTICS also manages the Germany-wide transport of ESN and MORE Nutrition products to retail outlets, which include Rossmann, Müller and Kaufland, for example. "We are a very dynamic company on a strong growth course in all areas of our product portfolio and, in addition to the online channel, we also distribute our products via our partners in the food retail sector. In METRO LOGISTICS, we have found a partner who will support us in our logistics challenges and in achieving our goals," says Thomas Vagner, Chief Commercial & People Officer, The Quality Group.
The contract was signed for an indefinite period. It is planned that the volume of handled goods at the Bremen site will continue to increase over the course of the cooperation with The Quality Group.
